JOIN for Justice Changemaker Bootcamp
Changemaker Bootcamp is open to teens in grades 9-12 by NOMINATION only. Seeking courageous and dynamic justice-seekers who are eager to be part of a movement for social change in our country. In partnership with JOIN for Justice, we are accepting nominations for this community organizing bootcamp on a rolling basis.
Early Bird: $250 USD (Register by Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2019)
Space Available: $275 USD - must be approved by regional advisor (Register after Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2019)
This event is open to any Jewish teen in grades 9 to 12.
Teens are expected to participate in the entire event. Fees are set at a full package rate and unfortunately we cannot prorate registration. Participants will receive an email confirmation letter one week before the event. The confirmation letter will include finalized bus arrival and departure information, a list of items to bring and other important information regarding the event.
The Dana Gershon and Rabbi Jonah Pesner URJ Youth Northeast Homecoming Weekend
will take place at URJ Eisner Camp, November 8-10, 2019, and bring together a large and diverse group of Jewish teens to participate in a meaningful and fun Jewish experience. Four new and very different programs will happen simultaneously:

This will be the largest program at the event. Open to teens in grades 9-12. Participants will make new friends and reconnect with old ones from NFTY-Northeast, NFTY-New York Area Region, NETC, and Camp! Big Fun and NFTY style, teen-created and teen-led programs.

In partnership with The Jewish Organizing Institute and Network (JOIN) for Justice, we are excited accept nominations for this community organizing bootcamp.
URJ Teen Songleading Fellowship (No longer accepting applications)
The URJ Teen Songleading Fellowship invites young Jewish songleaders to develop their songleading skills, deepen their knowledge of repertoire and communal singing technique, and build meaningful leadership and relationship opportunities in their congregations, camps, and communities. This fellowship is launching at the Homecoming Weekend.
Moving Tradition’s Kol Koleinu: Teen Feminist Fellowship (No longer accepting applications)
Moving Tradition’s Kol Koleinu fellowship, offered in collaboration with NFTY and USY, invites young Jewish feminists of all genders to explore and deepen their feminist knowledge, channel their voices to share their beliefs, and use their skills to create tangible change in their communities. This fellowship is launching at the Homecoming Weekend.
All participants must pre-register for a specific program.

Through Oct. 18, 2019 – 75% of the registration fees paid
Through Oct. 25, 2019 – 50% of the registration fees paid
After Oct. 25, 2019, we will not be able to issue any refunds for cancellation. If you have a documented medical emergency and must cancel after Oct. 25, 2019 you will be refunded 75% of the registration fees you paid. Please allow up to six weeks after the conclusion of the event for your refund to be processed.
All cancellation requests must be in writing. We will accept cancellations by email to nftyregistrar@urj.org. We’re sorry, but we cannot accept cancellations over the phone. Please leave valuables at home. Do not bring jewelry, electronic devices or large amounts of cash. Each participant is responsible for his/her belongings.
